Confirm release before requesting transport
A towing company cannot approve the release of a motorcycle held by Traffic Police or LTA. Contact the relevant authority and follow its current instructions. Confirm that collection is permitted, when it may occur and who is authorised to attend.
Do not rely on an older checklist or another rider’s experience. Authority requirements can differ or change, so use the instructions issued for the motorcycle concerned.

Prepare the collection and handover contacts
Identify the registered owner, approved collector and destination recipient. Ask the authority what authorisation it requires if someone is acting for the owner. Siva should receive only the information relevant to discussing transport.
Provide the compound name, proposed date or window and a reachable contact. Do not send identity documents in an initial request until the team confirms what is appropriate for the arrangement.

Describe the motorcycle condition
The motorcycle may have accident damage, a locked steering system, flat tyres or missing keys. Explain whether it rolls and steers and share safe photographs if they are available. The condition can affect how collection must be assessed.
If the authority has special access or arrival instructions, include them in the enquiry rather than assuming normal roadside access.
