Where it began
A passion for motorcycles came first.
Siva Towing was founded by Mr. Sivaprakash Jayapragasam, whose relationship with motorcycles began through countless rides with his father and brother.
As an avid rider, Sivaprakash spent years exploring roads and off-road trails across Malaysia. Those experiences gave him a practical understanding of what a rider needs during a breakdown: fast help, careful handling and someone they can trust with a motorcycle that matters to them.
In 2009, he started the business as a sole proprietorship with one towing van. He personally handled recoveries and transported motorcycles between Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, including workshop transfers, track-day transport and long-distance recovery jobs.
Hard work over time
Every recovery helped shape the business.
The early years involved long journeys, personal sacrifice and direct responsibility for every bike collected.
One memorable recovery took Sivaprakash as far as Laos to bring a motorcycle home. The journey remains part of the company’s history and reflects the determination on which the business was built. Current overseas coverage is confirmed separately for each enquiry.
In 2019, after a decade of steady growth and support from the riding community, the business was incorporated as Siva Towing and Transportation Pte Ltd. In 2024, Siva Towing and Transportation Sdn. Bhd. was established in Malaysia, marking the next milestone in the company’s regional expansion.
Today, the operation has nine specialised motorcycle transport vehicles—six in Singapore and three in Malaysia—and continues to expand professional motorcycle towing and transport services across the region.
